Allegro 2000 2007 Light Sport Aircraft, LSA Sport Plane, Ultralight

ALLEGRO NEWSLETTER APRIL 2006

Welcome to a long overdue newsletter from X-Air Australia with news on Fantasy Air's Allegro 2000 Aircraft.

With the Allegro spreading its wings in the southern hemisphere we are very excited to have our first aircraft headed to New Zealand shortly and our first aircraft sold to Western Australia currently on the water and shortly being delivered. With more than 20 Allegro aircraft now delivered the plane is proving to be very successful since its release and acceptance by pilots has been universal.

A very excited owner, Warren Wormald heads off from Queensland's Gold Coast
on his maiden flight back to Adelaide where the aircraft is based

The Allegro is holding up to the rigors of flight training operations with several flying schools using the Allegro in their fleet, not only providing basic abinitio training but the aircraft is also proving its value for cross country endorsements being very economical to operate using only 13.5 L per hour for an economy cruise of 95 knots.

Our congratulations also go to separate builders Barry and Brian who have recently completed their Allegro kit's and have taken to the Australian skies. Barry has reported that at around 80 knots he is only burning 7.5 L per hour when running the Rotax 80 hp engine and the standard three blade Woodcomp propeller, that economy and speed is amazing, he is also reporting if he needs to get somewhere quick at 5200 RPM will give him more than 110 knots on the airspeed indicator.

Aircraft FOR SALE

Its time to replace our demonstration fleet and we presently have two factory-built aircraft available for sale, both aircraft have less than 150 hours, they are fully equipped and are available immediately at a very competitive price. These aircraft will shortly be replaced with new planes arriving into Australia in the coming weeks so a prompt sale will be reflected by the asking price.

Arriving in the next couple of weeks is a brand new plane available immediately which includes all of the standard factory options including the Rotax 100 hp engine, VHF and UHF radios, stall speed indicator, ballistic rescue system, long-range fuel tanks etc, etc. This plane will be available ex Brisbane ready to go for around A$85,000 plus GST

We also have a partially completed kit aircraft available, I personally purchased the plane towards the end of last year to have something to play with in my spare time, unfortunately the high workload and international travel has not allowed me to spend as much time as I would like on the aircraft so it is reluctantly for sale before completion.

With more than 100 hours logged in the construction, the fuselage is completed and the new Rotax 80 hp engine mounted, the aircraft is sitting on all three wheels, the wings, rudder and elevators are finished and fully painted, the seat upholstery is complete and all it is required to finish this aircraft is final plumbing from the engine, fitting of the dash panel and instruments, doors and windscreen, I would expect this plane to be flying in around another 75 to 100 hours work. Please call Michael Coates on 0418 168 665 the further details on all of these aircraft.

Well, that's it for now. There has probably never been a better time to purchase an Allegro aircraft, whether you are in the market for a brand new plane, a low hours demonstrator or even an almost completed kit we currently have a selection of aircraft to meet almost anyone's requirements. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly through any of the emails below.

kind regards Michael Coates X-Air Australia
