Certification and approvals

The Pipistrel Virus and Sinus aircraft are the world's first Ultralight Certified, composite, two seat motorgliders.

Certified in several countries, the following are the Type Acceptance Certificates for Australia which allow the aircraft to be Ultralight Registered with Recreational Aviation Australia (RAA) and the Gliding Federation of Australia (GFA). They also permit use for training or hire.
